For Piaggio / GY6 / Kymco / Honda etc. Whenever you tune your engine, you should think about using a different torque spring, otherwise the belt might slip or the engine might be kept from revving up to top rpm. Any change in torque spring strength has a direct impact on shifting characteristics and acceleration. Keep in mind - harder does not necessarily mean better, it all depends on the rest of your set-up (cylinder, clutch, variator weights etc.) |
